Félix Brault, professional drone pilot in Quebec

The drone business school

Anyone can learn to fly.
Almost nobody makes a living from it.

Mentorat Drone Québec is the only school in Quebec teaching the business side of drone work. Not just regulation and piloting: how to win contracts, price properly and build a drone company that survives.

  • Founded by a pilot who lives off drone work
  • 5+ years in aerial imagery
  • Hundreds of hours in controlled airspace
  • 100% online, at your pace
  • Aligned with Transport Canada regulations
  • Real processes, templates and workflows
  • Built for the Quebec market

The real problem

A certificate is not a career.

Every year, hundreds of people in Quebec earn their pilot certificate. They buy a good drone. They learn the rules. Then nothing happens.

Not because they fly badly. Because nobody showed them how to turn a technical skill into a company that generates revenue: how to identify a client, present an offer, set a price that holds, deliver a mandate professionally and get referred.

That is exactly the gap Mentorat Drone Québec was built to close.

What we teach

Three pillars. One profession.

Everything MDQ teaches rests on three blocks that reinforce each other. Remove one and the business does not hold.

  • Positioning and niche
  • Prospect identification
  • A portfolio that converts
  • Selling and closing contracts

The founder

Félix Brault

Professional pilot for over five years in aerial imagery. Hundreds of flight hours in regulated environments, including the controlled zones of Montreal airports and international mandates.

Félix does not only teach drone work: he lives off it. What is taught in MDQ programs are his own processes, workflows and templates, the ones he uses in his practice and his company every day.

FAQ

What people ask most

Do I need my pilot certificate before taking the training?

No. The Mentorat Drone Québec business training does not replace Transport Canada certification, it sits on top of it. You can start while preparing for your exam. The Drone Career Program does include advanced pilot certification.

How is this different from other drone schools in Quebec?

Other schools teach you to pass your exam and fly legally. That is necessary, but it does not bring you a single client. Mentorat Drone Québec is the only school in Quebec teaching the business side: finding contracts, pricing correctly, structuring your company and delivering like a professional.

Does it work if I am starting from zero in business?

Yes. The framework is structured step by step, from choosing your positioning to signing your first paid contract. No prior business knowledge is required.

How long does it take?

The free training is about 2 hours of video. The complete and advanced training is about 13 hours 30 of structured video content, plus roughly 20 hours of implementation work to apply inside your own drone activity.

Is the training in French?

Yes. This website is bilingual, but all training content, documents and coaching are delivered in French only.

Can I ask Félix questions directly?

Yes, through 1:1 coaching. It is a personalised engagement where we build an action plan based on your goals. Seats are deliberately limited.
